Rodeo At Montasola Farms – Niagara Region
Stephensville Rodeo at Montasola Farms Besides being a great rodeo, this one, at Montasola Farms, was perfect as it was so close to me. Twenty minute drive. I’ve photographed quite a few rodeos in Alberta. Lots there and most were pretty close to where I lived in Calgary. And I love to be able to walk about and get in the thick of things. And this rodeo near Stephensville (Niagara Region) was great for that.

Rodeo Broncs – The Riders Don’t Really Win!

Millarville one is obviously in Millarville. Dog Pound is about an hour north of Calgary. A little ways off the main highway going north to Edmonton. I like these smaller rodeos, because I can get up close and get some real photos.

Young Alberta Real Cowboys – Branding
Young Alberta Cowboys Ridin' and Ropin' I love these photos. These young men living real life. No sitting in front of iPads for them. They look pretty serious but one for one they love their life. I spent the day photographing these young Alberta cowboys (several years ago) and these young men were some of the hardest working. No question that they knew what they were doing. And at the lunch break, I was welcomed
