Stephensville Rodeo at Montasola Farms

Besides being a great rodeo, this one, at Montasola Farms, was perfect as it was so close to me.  Twenty minute drive.

I’ve photographed quite a few rodeos in Alberta.  Lots there and most were pretty close to where I lived in Calgary.  And I love to be able to walk about and get in the thick of things. 

And this rodeo near Stephensville (Niagara Region) was great for that.

I’m looking forward to being there again next year. Hopefully, get more photos of the cowboys hanging out.

One of the things that I noticed and really appreciated was the number or young, healthy looking people walking about. 

I’ve been to a lot of ‘Fair’ type events.  These other events, well, the young folks definitely look like they spend way too much time sitting and drinking sodas.

Whereas, by far the majority of folks at the Montasola Farms Rodeo were healthy and looked like they were actively enjoying life. 

Was great to see.
